Learning to follow Jesus. Together.

Around God's Word. Around the table. Around everyday life. Journey is a faith family where imperfect people are learning to trust Jesus, love one another, and live as His disciples.

A faith family

There is room at the table for you.

Not because you have arrived, but because Jesus welcomes ordinary people and transforms lives through grace.

Welcome to Journey

Church is more than something to attend.

It is a family learning to belong to Jesus and to one another. We gather to worship, open Scripture, share a meal, ask honest questions, encourage growth, and help each other live out our faith.

Our goal is not simply to help people attend church well. It is to help people faithfully follow Jesus wherever He has placed them.

Who we are

Jesus at the center. People becoming disciples.

Everything we do flows from a simple desire: to help ordinary people become faithful followers of Jesus.

01

Jesus is our center.

Our preaching, worship, relationships, and ministry are grounded in Scripture and centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

02

Discipleship is our purpose.

We want more than a meaningful Sunday. We want lives shaped by Jesus—people who know His Word, obey His voice, and help others follow Him.

03

Family is how we grow.

We learn through Scripture, relationships, shared meals, honest conversation, encouragement, accountability, and serving together.

Grace for real life

You are more than the hardest chapter of your story.

Many people at Journey have experienced addiction, broken relationships, church hurt, disappointment, or difficult seasons. Those experiences may be part of our stories, but they do not define us. Jesus does.

You will not be expected to pretend. You will be encouraged to bring your life into the light, receive grace, take ownership, grow in truth, and keep moving forward with Christ.

Our posture
We do not expect perfection. We pursue faithfulness.

None of us has arrived. We celebrate growth, walk with one another through failure, and keep pointing each other back to Jesus.

What Sundays feel like

Warm, honest, biblical, and unhurried.

You do not need to know church language, dress a certain way, or have your life figured out. Come and take things as you choose.

We worship together.

Our music includes modern songs and hymns. The goal is not performance—it is a church family singing to Jesus together.

We open God's Word.

Different teachers bring different styles, but every message is rooted in Scripture, centered on Christ, and connected to everyday life.

🍽

We share a meal.

Eating together gives us time to slow down, build friendships, and move beyond simply sitting in the same room.

We talk it through.

Table Talk gives us space to ask questions, share what stood out, and help one another apply Scripture. Listening is always welcome.

Why Table Talk?

Gathering around the table is part of how we do church.

In the early church, believers devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching, fellowship, prayer, and breaking bread together. Sharing a meal was not simply an activity after worship—it was part of living as the family of God.

Journey follows that same pattern. After we worship and open God's Word, we gather around tables, share a meal, and continue the conversation through what we call Table Talk.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Acts 2:42 (KJV)
What is Table Talk?

Table Talk is not another sermon. It is a relaxed, honest conversation about what we have heard from Scripture. Around the table, people can ask questions, share what stood out, encourage one another, and consider how God's Word should shape everyday life.

Why are there tables instead of rows?

Rows naturally point everyone toward a stage. Tables remind us that church is a family gathering. They create room for Bibles, notes, meals, questions, prayer, and relationships—not simply an audience watching from a distance.

Why does Journey serve a meal every week?

The early believers regularly broke bread together, and we believe a shared meal still creates meaningful space for fellowship. Eating together slows us down, helps strangers become friends, and allows relationships to grow across generations, backgrounds, and life experiences.

Do I have to speak?

No. Everyone is invited into the conversation, but no one is pressured. You are welcome to listen and participate as you choose. No one will embarrass you, unexpectedly call on you, or pressure you to share something personal.

Why does this matter?

We believe disciples are formed not only by hearing God's Word, but also by discussing it, praying together, sharing life, and helping one another faithfully live it out. Table Talk gives those things room to happen.

Monday through Saturday

Following Jesus in everyday life.

On Sunday, we gather. During the week, we scatter. Your workplace, home, neighborhood, school, ball field, recovery community, and dinner table are all places where faith is lived and disciples are formed.

Ministry is not reserved for pastors or people on a stage. Every follower of Jesus has a place, a purpose, and gifts that can strengthen the body of Christ.

At HomeLoving, forgiving, teaching, and serving the people closest to us.
At WorkLiving with integrity, compassion, excellence, and Gospel purpose.
In RecoveryWalking honestly, owning our choices, and helping others find freedom in Christ.
In the CommunitySeeing needs, building relationships, and serving without needing recognition.
Journey Kids

Children are part of the church today.

They worship with the family, receive age-appropriate Bible teaching during the message, and return for the meal and Table Talk.

More than childcare

Helping children know Jesus, love Scripture, and know they belong.

Journey Kids provides biblical teaching and joyful activities in a caring environment. We also want children to see their families worship, serve, eat, learn, and grow together.

Biblical teaching

Scripture explained in a way children can understand.

Caring leaders

People who genuinely love Jesus and children.

Part of the family

Worship, meals, friendships, and church life together.

Room to grow

Children learn that they can know Jesus and serve Him now.

Families Serving Journey

Different families. Different gifts. One shared mission.

Journey is not built around one personality. It is a church family served by families who love Jesus, love His Word, and love helping others follow Him.
